Halogen Free cables are used in electric installation of the Metrocity BUSINESS CENTER. (IEC 531 (a) (b) (c)) Only Nexans, Prysmian, KLAS, 2M brand).  The fire detection and warning system was taken as a whole while selecting the materials and equipments to be used in the Metrocity BUSINESS CENTER. These materials and equipments have the maximum noncombustible features and do not release toxic smoke if exposed to high temperatures. Heat sense cables are installed under the slab, in accordance with fire warning system requirements. Electrical panels are made from metal and they are all powder painted. Building has Schneider branded electrical panels and warning signs on them are in compliance with the related standards.

There are 2 transformers each with 1.250 KW capacity serving the Metrocity BUSINESS CENTER. The whole system is controlled by residual current device. In addition, Metrocity BUSINESS CENTER electrical system is backed up with 3 generators each with 750 KW capacity. Building also has a 30 KW UPS for emergency situations.

At the Metrocity BUSINESS CENTER, planned power requirement is 125-150 watt/m²  for the 1450 m² leasable areas and 70-100 watt/m²  for the 775 m² leasable areas. Generators can serve the entire planned electrical power requirements of the Metrocity BUSINESS CENTER and are able to serve as long as 11 hours without refueling.
